WORLD'S FINEST CHOCOLATES
FUNDRAISER

This fundraiser is to raise much needed funds for the the Music and Pageantry Program.

  The goal is for each student to sell
AT LEAST ONE box of chocolates. 

$1.00 per chocolate bar ($60 per box)
60 bars in a Box which include:  Almond, Caramel, W.F. Crisp, Milk Chocolate, Dark Chocolate

t1) Fill out and return (with parent/guardian's signature) the permission slip below to the band room or Mr. Castro.  
2) 1 to 5 boxes can be checked out at a time.  If you need additional boxes, you must pay in full any box(es) already checked out.
3) Return sold chocolate money to the band room mailbox before receiving additional boxes of chocolate.  
4) Checks can be made out to Schurr Music Boosters.
5) No unsold chocolate may be returned.  If a box is checked out, it must be sold.
6) No selling during school hours.

  • For each box sold and paid by 3/30/17, you will receive one raffle ticket for a gift card (TBD)
  • The student selling the most boxes and paid in full by 3/30/17 will receive
  • 2 TICKETS TO A DODGER GAME in April or May
  • THE CHALLENGE!!!  Orchestra/Color Guard/Drill is challenging Band to see who can sell the most Boxes!

The Schurr Jazz Band invites you to enjoy an evening of fun, good food and great music!  All for a great cause!

Jazzy Bingo will be held at the Schurr High School small gym.  
820 North Wilcox Ave.  Montebello, CA
5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Adult:  $15.00
Senior Citizen:  $12.00 (55+ years)
Child:  $10.00 (age 2 years to 6 years, no bingo card)
Price Includes:  Dinner, salad, drink, dessert, 2 bingo card games and a raffle ticket.
Dinner will be served from 5-7 p.m.
In order to get this price you must pay by May 9, 2017.

A limited number of dinner tickets will be sold at the door at an increased price.

FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITY

Volunteers needed to work a Rose Bowl concert.  We will need 20 students under 18 years of age.  Unlimited volunteers needed for 18 years and over.  Call time TBD.  Please contact Lynn Castro with questions.  Volunteers can sign up via Google docs below.

This year, The Spartan Legion has been invited to travel to Rome, Italy to take part in the Rome New Years Parade.  The trip will be organized by Youth Music of the World.   Spartan Legion will be visiting landmarks such as the Sistine Chapel, The Vatican City, The Colosseum, The Circus Maximus and plenty more.  Please download the sample itinerary for a full list of landmarks. *
